Dear Families,

I hope you have all had a wonderful week and had the opportunity to enjoy some beautiful summer days.

Grade 5 Camp

Our Grade 5 students went to The Adventure Resort on Phillip Island this week and it was a great success. A huge thank you to the staff who attended the camp. Thank you to Frank Overberg, Mrs Stefanec who stayed for the week and to Mrs Jen Darby, Miss Emily Johnson, Mr Mick O'Brien, Mr Brendan Ellul, Mrs Kirsten Jansen-Mc Master, Senor Antonio Denton and Mrs Cath Passante. Everyone had a great time and have come back exhausted.

 School Leaders

Our Grade 6 students received their rugby tops yesterday and they look very smart on our school leaders.

 St Louis Swim Team

Our swimming team has been chosen and the weather was perfect for swimming out doors. Congratulations to all the swimmers who tried out.  For those who were not successful this year, I would encourage them to practise during the year and try again next year.  Thank you to Mr Mitchell, Mr Wood and Miss Leah Hancock for running a very smooth event.

Swimming training continues next week and the following week on Tuesday and Thursdays at Toby Haenan's pool Chelsea Heights.

 Beginning School Mass

On Tuesday 22 February we will be celebrating our Beginning of the School Year mass. It will be outside and our first opportunity to come together as a school.

 Prep Family Mass

Just a reminder that we have our Prep Family Mass next Sunday 27 February at Braeside Park.

Please check the RE page and the Prep page for more information.

Enjoy your weekend
