Start your university course ahead of the rest
Get a head start on your studies with the Bond Business School Year 12 Extension Program, which comprises fast-paced and fun two-day workshops designed to prepare you for university life. Facilitated by our world-class academics, the program offers an enriching opportunity that supports the existing Year 12 curriculum in areas such as business and maths. Faced with real-world situations, participants will hone their skills, problem solve, and work collaboratively with their peers. The Extension Program is free.
After successful completion of a two-day Extension Program workshop, eligible students will receive early entry into their course of choice, and can apply for one of six part-fee (25% and 50%) scholarships or a $5,000 bursary.

Very excitingly, for the first time EVER, I have confirmed interest from 1 RAR Band to hold a work experience placement for high-performing young musicians in the final week of Term 1, 2023 (March 27-31).
Due to very limited places (only five students will be accepted), this placement is not publicly available on the Defence Force website. Students can access the application by clicking here
Separate to the application, students must provide an email, short reference or letter from their music teacher to confirm they are high performers. While we understand students are still learning, they must have some capacity to play with a professional band. This should be sent to NQLD.workexperience@defence.gov.au
Along with musical activities and mentoring, students will participate in activities unique to a military career, such as PT, and receive career mentoring from Defence Force Recruiting. Thus, a genuine interest in an ADF career is necessary.
Eligible instruments are:
Trumpet
Trombone
Saxophone
Guitar
Piano
Bass Guitar
Drums
Flute, clarinet or French horn players would also be acceptable, however not ideal.
Students may also have the chance to sing, however, they should have a primary instrument as well.
