Engineering Workshop UNSW
UNSW Try Engineering Day allows students to attend the university and explore the engineering options for study and work in the industry. Jeremy Hoy and Alexander Mills attended and share their insights.
"On Wednesday 25th October Alex and I were lucky enough to attend the UNSW Engineering Workshop day. We found this day very beneficial and informative as it provided practical examples of the different types of engineering available at the University such as controlling coded robots in Electrical Engineering, creating bouncy balls from chemicals in Chemical Engineering and building our own battery powered race cars in Mechanical Engineering.
The workshops also provided us with information on the different facilities the Uni had and the specifications required to enrol at UNSW. We both highly enjoyed the day and would recommend it to anyone interested in Engineering and Science." Jeremy Hoy
"The benefit of attending the Engineering day at UNSW was that it gave me reassurance on my interest in the possible engineering careers and helped to highlight the certain degree that interests me the most as well as eliminating the ones that didn’t. This helped me choose the subjects I will keep and drop for the HSC. Overall the day was very fun and enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone interested in engineering." Alex Mills
