Happy Mother’s Day

OSHClub would like to wish all families a belated Mother’s Day for Sunday. We hope you had a wonderful day filled with laughter, cuddles and love!

What we’ve been up to at OSHC!

Last week our theme was Mother’s Day! To celebrate the day, we decided to learn some more about the wonderful women who have made amazing contributions to our community and history. In the kitchen, the children enjoyed baking some Raspberry and White Chocolate muffins, which Iris S in prep shared with many mums in the playground on Friday afternoon! In the craft area, many children enjoyed creating calendars for Mum as well as some special paintings. Connecting to the wider community, these activities focused on developing skills including social responsibility.

Our theme this week is ‘Animal Life Cycles’, here are a couple of activities that we have planned:

We look forward to making new friends and learning new things through play and social experiences. As always there will also be a quiet time for homework, relaxation and reading.

Mornings: 7.00am-8.15am

Afternoons: 3.45pm-4.30pm and 5.00pm-5.30pm

Pupil Free Day Session

Monday 27th May, 2019

Circus Day!

We will have a Pupil Free Day at ST JAMES OSHCLUB on Monday 27th May 2019, which will run if we receive a minimum of 15 bookings for the day.

If going ahead, the session will run all day from 7:00am to 6:00pm at the cost of $64.00 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy). Many families are eligible for Child Care Subsidy, which reduces the out of pocket cost of outside school hours care. To establish what level of CCS you may be entitled to please contact the Centrelink Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.

Please book prior to 5pm 20th May 2019 to register your interest. We will advise on this day if we have enough bookings to proceed.

How to book

Please log in to your account online at www.oshclub.com.auand book in under the Pupil Free Day Room.

Please note that bookings cannot be made online within 5 days of the session commencing. To book within this period, you will need to contact the ST JAMES OSHCLUB service directly. The service’s phone number can be found by visiting our website and searching for the service.

What Happens

The theme for the day will be ‘Circus’!

Dress up as your favourite circus character!

We will provide a range of fun and engaging activities including face painting, circus crafts and a circus skills session!

What to bring

Please bring a cut lunch for the day. Make sure your children wear/bring appropriate footwear and clothing, including a hat.

Further Important Information for this Day:

7 days’ notice is required for cancellation of the Pupil Free Day, to ensure you will not incur out of pocket costs.

A $4 late booking fee applies for bookings made within 5 days of the session commencing.

All regular Before and After School Care bookings have been removed.

If a child that is booked for a session does not attend, and no cancellation is provided, an additional ‘No Show’ Fee of $5.00 will be charged (per child).
