Deputy Principal's News

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to Term 4!

Throughout the holidays we have had scheduled works take place to make our school even better.  The works included; the completion of painting in and outside of the building, the removal of the sleepers and tanbark beneath the playground which was replaced by a new Flexitec rubber surface, the resurfacing of our main entrances and ramps with a concrete/epoxy and finally the work in progress, the preparation for the resurfacing of our new synthetic grass by Grassports Australia.  To ensure that the work can continue in a safe manner, temporary fencing has been put up in the Mainyard. The aim is to have the grass in front of the office installed prior to our Grandparents and Special Person Assembly and morning tea tomorrow Friday. At this stage it is anticipated that the new synthetic grass will be fully installed (including the line work and sand overlay by the end of next week.

The front office and the classrooms can be accessed via the Tilley stairs leading up to the Year 5 space and the Red double doors located next to the Boardroom.  Temporarily we will have students line up at the end of play and lunch in the Tilley yard. At this stage, until the works are completed, the students in years 3 -6 will be using Netball, Tennis courts and play equipment at play and lunch, and the students in Foundation to 2 the Tilley yard.  Games Club will be available to all students on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Thank you all for your ongoing cooperation and understanding.
