Foundation Woodwork

Our project in week 5 was to work with a new joining material... glue! Students followed a diagram to correctly assemble wooden elements and a plastic lid to make a catapult for a ping pong ball.

In week 6 and 7 we have been designing wooden robots that will have limbs made from knotted string. We have been practising using a saw, hand drills and tying knots.  Our robot faces have a saw cut slot for the mouth and drill holes for eyes.
