Congratulating our nominees

Congratulations to our talented, hardworking and community-minded Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars nominees. Students were nominated by their teachers in recognition of their academic and leadership qualities and put forward to Melbourne University for selection to this academic enrichment program for high-achieving students. Competition is fierce, with over 1500 applicants across the state. 

These Northcote High students exemplify our school values and we are very proud of their achievements. In 2020, the nominees for this prestigious award included  (from left to right) Noah Rindschwentner, Sophie Hargreaves, Matilda Lohrey, Alicia Chant, Amelie Sibillin, Zara Baglioni, Mila Lawson, Hangsam Nembang, and Sebastian Rio.

This year, the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars award goes to Zara Baglioni. Well done Zara!
