Creating lifesize head sculptures

In Term 4 our Year 9s have been creating head sculptures using a mould method, which involves wrapping foil over their face and head then strengthening the mould with masking tape and paper mache. Detail and decorations will be applied using wire, foil, paint and found objects. Here are some progress shots from the classroom, it is great to be back together in the studio space.
