Year 7 Transition Information

With the end of the year quickly approaching, there are a number of transition/information session dates to add to your diary! 

 

Bannockburn P-12 College:

Parent Information Night (Zoom): 25th November at 6:15pm. An email has been sent to you with the link to connect you to Zoom. 

Year 7 Orientation Day 8th December

 

North Geelong Secondary College:

Parent Information Session (Online): Thursday December 3rd or Monday December 7th - 5:30pm.

Grade 6 Graduation

We are excited to announce the event for our Graduating Class of 2020! As per the Department of Education's regulations, a Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony will be held for Grade 6 students and staff members on Tuesday 15th December at the Fyansford Hotel. With technology on our side, parents, extended family members and the Teesdale Community will be able to view the Graduation Ceremony via Facebook Live! For the Grade 6 students who are attending, please make sure you have paid, filled in the forms and returned these to your classroom teacher by Friday 4th of December, 2020.

 

For parents, family members, friends and community members, the live streamed ceremony will be split into two parts to allow for a dinner break in between. 

The program for the evening is:

 

- 5:20pm Grade 6 student drop off at The Fyansford Hotel

- 6:00pm - 6:45pm Live stream session 1 - Facebook Live

- 6:45pm-7:30pm Dinner break 

-7:30pm – 8:15pm Live stream session 2 and evening concludes

 - 8:45pm-9:00pm Grade 6 student pick up at The Fyansford Hotel 

 

Dress Code: 'smart casual'

Cost: $20 (includes main meal, dessert and a soft drink)

Payment: all orders and payment are due by Friday 4th December. Payment must be made by BPay using your unique biller code printed on your invoice.

Student Achievements

Congratulations to Molly who was presented with a North Geelong Secondary College Academic Excellence Scholarship last week.  The Academic Excellence Scholarship is available to students with an exemplary academic record who have demonstrated outstanding application and achievement in one or more of English, Mathematics or Science, together with a strong performance in general studies. Molly was highly commended for her outstanding academic results in all areas, in particular Science and Mathematics.
