Religious Education News:

Congratulations to Jaxon, Zane, Amelia, Ethan, Andrianna and Michael in Year Three who will be making their First Reconciliation on Thursday 26th November at 7:00pm in Sacred Heart Church. At present there can be up to 20 people inside a church due to Covid 19 so each child and up to two parents/guardians will be able to attend. The students had prepared for the sacrament earlier in the year and will undertake a refresher course before they receive First Reconciliation.

Congratulations to Mili, Julian and Joshua in Year Four who will be receiving their First Eucharist on Sunday 6th December at a special midday mass. By that stage up to 50 people will be allowed in the church so we will work out with each individual family the specific numbers attending closer to the date.

Graduation for Year Six students will be held in the second last week of term, week beginning 7th December. An actual date will be confirmed by next week.

Deputy Principal News:

Exciting news! We have the honour and priviledge of hosting the first Bunnings BBQ Sausage Sizzle since lockdown. We will be at Northland Bunnings on Saturday December 5th and a separate note will be sent home asking for volunteers on this day. It is expected to be a huge event as many people have missed sausages since Covid19. I have some volunteers already and I will be organising a roster next week. If you have other commitments on the day you may be able to assist with getting supplies the week before. We will need as much help as possible as it is a great way to promote our school.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Transition:

Students in Years 3-5 will be attending Transition Tuesday every week at school with Denise, Marie and Amanda where they will be getting ready to move into different class groupings next year. Students will be working in different groups to get to know each other and learn about what will be different when they move to Year 3,4,5 or 6 next year. Please see the photos and descriptions from students in classroom news.
