Year 8 and 9 Assemblies
The Wurrin Hub were excited to find out that year level (bubble) assemblies were possible again. Held over two different sessions, students were updated on the new construction projects in the W building and met the new College Captains Ariez Silvino and Taryn Gardham, and the Vice Captains Josh West and Chloe Long. Year 8/9 students also heard about things the school has been working on during remote learning, including our new school values of Resilience, Responsibility and Respect.

In Year 8 Metals with Mr Roworth students have been making tool boxes. Here are some photos of our creative and capable students hard at work. In order to make these, students must precisely measure, cut and join the pieces together.

Expression of Interest - Journo Team
The Wurrin Hub are requesting expressions of interest from Year 8 and 9 students who would like to be a part of our new Journo Team. We are looking for students who are interested in writing articles about interesting events and news stories for publishing in the College's e-newsletter. Please go to the Hub for more information.
