CELEBRATING OUR FAITH

3/4W Mass

         - Saints Simon & Jude

This Friday, 30 October at 9:15am, 3/4W will celebrate the final class Mass for the year.  They are celebrating the feasts of Saints Simon and Jude. In Religion this term Stage 2 are learning about Saints. They have been studying what Saints are and how their example can help us become more Christ-like in our day to day lives. Saints, like St Simon and St Jude, inspire us to deepen our relationship with God and always strive to do our best.

Families and friends of 3/4W are welcome to attend the Mass at Sacred Heart Church at 9:15am on Friday 30 October.

NAIDOC WEEK - Week 5

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to come together to celebrate the rich history, diverse cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the oldest continuing cultures on the planet. NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each year, and provide a valuable opportunity for all Australians to participate in a range of activities and to support local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

The theme this year is Always Was, Always Will Be which recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.

During NAIDOC week, classes will participate in different activities and  have the opportunity to celebrate through prayer and reflection the diverse cultures of our indigenous friends.
