Scotsburn News

Public Holiday Tuesday

A reminder that next Tuesday is a Public Holiday. There will be no school for students on this day.

2021 Organisation

Although we have just entered term 4 of 2020, we also have an eye on 2021. If you are planning on not sending your child to the Scotsburn Campus in 2021, please contact Shaun ASAP.

Footy Colours Day

The Scotsburn students and staff had a great time last Thursday for Footy Colours Day. Nearly all of the AFL teams were represented and lots of fun activities enjoyed by all.

Health & Human Relations Program

This week, the Gr 5 girls & Gr 6 students have commenced the Health & Human Relations Program. This is an important and valuable opportunity for the students, and we thank Ms Morris very much for facilitating it.

SC1 - Hungry Little Caterpillars

Well done to all SC1 students for making these gorgeous little hungry caterpillars from clay last term. It was great to finally get them into the kiln and paint them! A big thanks to Mrs. Noyce for letting us use her kiln.

Parent Opinion Surveys

Parent Opinion Surveys normally go out in term 2 to a portion of families, but this year all families have been invited to participate and the survey closes soon.  Hopefully we will have plenty of responses and the turn-around for results is swift. A big thanks to those parents that have already completed their survey.

Kinder Transition Day

Mrs Anderson is looking forward to connecting with the kinders and day care centres to give parents and children the support they need in what is an abbreviated transition program this year. Sessions will commence this week for our 4 preps that are currently enrolled for 2021. We are sure they will have a great time.

Social Distancing of Adults

A big thanks to all of our wonderful families for helping to maintain safe standards before and after school. Visitors to the school grounds will continue to be limited to those delivering or supporting essential school services and operations.  As such, parents are still only to go beyond the school gate if absolutely necessary.  No parents should enter classrooms until further notice.  Please email or phone if there is something you need assistance with. Thanks so much for your continued understanding and support.
