Relay for Life Update

OCTOBER 11 &12

Our team, Beena Believers, is starting to fill up for this year's Relay For Life.

If you haven't already done so, you can still register for the big day / night event down at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve on Saturday 11th October and Sunday 12th October from 12 noon till 12 noon.

Just jump onto the computer and google Relay For Life, find Beena Believers in Murrumbeena and join in the fun.  It costs $20 to join and you get a polo top to keep as a memento of the event.

So far the spots that need filling are late evening on Saturday night, which is a great time to come on down in your PJ's for 'Pyjama Hour'.

It is such a fun way to help raise awareness for cancer research.  The relay doesn't stop for the whole 24 hours, so we also need people to come on down in the middle of the night to help out with the 'night shift' as well.

If you think you could do an hour during the early morning hours, please get in touch with Amanda Daemen ( 0412 329 605 amandadaemen@gmail.com).

If walking / running or participating isn't your idea of fun, but you would like to support our team, then you can donate when you log on to the website or drop some cash off to the office to donate to the Cancer Council.

Our goal is to raise $1,500 this year and we have raised $935 to date.
