ATHLETICS

On Wednesday 10 September, sixteen outstanding Murrumbeena Primary School athletes participated in the Beachside Athletics Carnival at Duncan Mackinnon. 

They were competing against a number of private schools and many of these competitors train several times a week for athletics. 

All of our competitors did extremely well and  gave 100% effort. 

Two students made it through to the Southern Metropolian Regional Athletics- Kate Mahoney for 100m. and Bancha Harkins for both hurdles and long jump. 

Congratulations and good-luck to these two students who will be competing on 16 October.
