CONCERT
Last night we enjoyed our school concert at the Palais Theatre. The children certainly seemed to appreciate performing for their families and friends in such a special venue. It was lovely to see their excitement and share in their sense of achievement.
I would like to again thank Peter Bucher for his time, dedication and energy in preparing the huge concert production and to all the teachers for their assistance prior to the evening and on the night itself.
Once again, a big thank you to Chris Trotter, for the amazing costumes she prepares every year, and the many others who assist her; Judy O'Brien, Helen Morphet, Sandra McKelvey, Jess Hartney, Rachael Meadows, Helen Conrad, Sue Tinkler, Heather Ikin, Melinda Gledhill, Helen Russell and Debbie Brown. It’s a real team effort!
Thank you also to parents for your support in preparing your children for the concert and your attendance. We hope you all enjoyed the concert as much as the children!
Congratulations to all our students for presenting a great concert for our community!
CASUAL CLOTHES DAY– FRIDAY
On Friday, the last day of term three, children are permitted to wear casual clothes, for a gold coin donation. Students may like to dress in their favourite sporting colours. The money raised for our casual clothes day will go towards the Relay for Life, and our group, Beena Believers. All funds raised through Relay for Life are directed to the Cancer Council.
School will finish on Friday 19 September at the earlier time of 2.30 pm. Out of School Hours Care will operate at this earlier time. Term Four will commence at 8.55am on Monday 6 October.
Have a happy and safe holiday!
