Visit to Year 3 Exhibition

The Prep students were lucky enough to spend some time at the Grade 3 exhibition, where they needed to scan a QR code to watch a short video by the Year 3 students and learn about different animals. The students really enjoyed choosing the posters and watching the videos. 

Remembrance Day

On Wednesday we celebrated Remembrance Day. The Preps learnt about what Remembrance Day is, why we celebrate it and the significance of red poppies to this sacred event. 

The children were very respectful during the grade 6 Remembrance Day service and observed the minutes silence with great restraint and respect.

The preps also crafted their own red paper poppies and participated in creating a sea of poppies around the roots of our Gallipoli oak tree in our school grounds.

The teachers were all very impressed with how courteous and engaged the preps were during this special observance.
