Welcome Baby Lorelai!
Huge congratulations to Melissa (PFA Treasurer extraordinaire and super mum!!), Chris, Harper and Willow on the safe arrival of baby Lorelai!!
Lorelai is simply gorgeous and we can’t wait for loads of baby cuddles. Sending the Turner family all our love and best wishes as they settle in back at home as a beautiful family of 5.

Pancake Day – Tuesday 21 February
We are so excited for Pancake Day next Tuesday. It is always one of the highlights of the school year. We will be serving up over 400 hot, delicious pancakes to students and staff. If you haven’t placed an order yet, please return an order form by Monday at the latest.
Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to help us on Pancake Day. We can’t run these events without your amazing support.
Twilight Sports – Helpers Needed!
Twilight Sports is coming up on Thursday 9 March. The P&F host a free bbq for the students and a sausage sizzle is available for family members who wish to purchase a sausage or drink on the night.
We are calling on parent helpers to help us cook & serve at this fabulous BBQ. You can choose a time slot that suits you and you won’t miss out on seeing your kids participate in their sports. It’s a great opportunity to get involved if you normally work during school hours as this event is held after school. Please look out for the forms going home next week and put your name down as a helper. Or you can email us to get involved: sfspfa@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au
You are invited – PFA Meeting on Tuesday 21 February
Our first PFA meeting for the year is next Tuesday 21 February at 6:00 pm in the Community Room. All are welcome to come along and find out what the Parents and Friends Association at SFS is all about!
We would love to welcome new parents to join the PFA – your kids will love to see you at school getting involved in all the fun activities during the year. So come along and find out more about us next Tuesday.
Save the date – Morning Tea on 3 March
Join us for our first morning tea of 2023 on Friday 3 March in the Community Room straight after morning gathering. Come and meet other parents and share in a cuppa and some sweet treats. The second hand uniform shop will also be open during morning tea. Hope you can make it!
Uniform Shop
The second hand uniform shop will be opened every Wednesday morning from 8:40 am. All items are only $5 each so come and grab yourself a bargain.
Don’t forget that if you have any uniform in good condition that your kids have outgrown, we would love for you to donate it to our second hand uniform stall. Any donations can be left at the school office.
We are selling Zooper Doopers every Friday at first lunch. Please remember to give your child 50c if they are allowed to purchase one. If you would like to help with this or any other events we are running, please email Courtney at pfapresident@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au and we will get you involved.
A reminder that all volunteers and helpers at SFS must have a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
These checks are very easy to apply for, and are free for volunteers!
