CHPS Swimming Carnival

The CHPS swimming carnival went swimmingly. We had over 130 students across grades 4-6 compete in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Everyone had a fun day racing against their friends. It was amazing to see so many great swimming skills in action. A huge thank you to all the parent helpers and teachers. Well done to all the students!!

CHPS had a very strong District Team this year. We meet early at school and walked across to the pool. It was a hot and sunny day perfect for swimming. We were very lucky Megan (Owen’s Mum) came to the rescue and brought her sunshade down to the pool. Students raced in individual events and relay style races. Everyone did an incredible job in the pool and had fun. We had a HUGE 26 students make it through to Division which will be later in March. Well done to everyone who competed!! Thank you to all our parents helpers!!
