Junior School Christmas Concert
On Friday 1st December, the Junior School braved the rain and performed the most amazing Christmas musical. The students all sang and acted brilliantly. The beautiful message of Jesus was the focus of the show and many new stars were discovered.
A special thank you to Leo Williames who directed the show and brought the most incredible talents out of the students. I also want to thank all the parents who donated an enormous number of gifts that were gratefully accepted by Darren Waterworth on behalf of the Salvation Army.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Hello Mrs Hughes,
Please pass on this letter of appreciation to the Junior School community for the donation of food and Christmas gifts that were delivered to us yesterday by Mr Darren Waterworth.

Year 1 Fun Times
The Year 1 students have had a busy but fun Term 4. We enjoyed a visit to the lovely residents at ARCARE. We went armed with violins, singers and letters for them to read.
Another highlight was when we spent time being clever scientists during our Science Incursion on “How materials change”. We did fun experiments and learnt many interesting facts. The best part was playing with “ooblek”!
Year 2 Stay Late
On the 17th November, the Year 2s had a wonderful time at the Stay Late. The day was filled with smiles and laughter, creativity, food and lots and lots of fun!!
A heartfelt “thank you” to all the staff who stayed after school to supervise the craft and sport activities and prepare the food!

Year 2 Introduction To French
Last week, Madame Marks and her amazing Year 9 and 10 French students gave the Year 2H class a fantastic taste of what they can expect next year. The activities were fun and exciting, and the Year 2s truly enjoyed their first French lesson.
Well done, and thank you, to Jerry, Kassandra, Fiorella, Georgia, Isha, Amber, Amy, Isabelle, Eunice, Carla, Ella, Tiffany and Vanessa! Vous êtes merveilleux!

Year 4 Graduation
On Monday 4th December, we caught the bus to Belgrave and then got on the Puffing Billy train up to Lake Emerald. We stuck our legs out of the windows and there were many good views.
When we got off the train, we ate lots of food. Some food was fruit, jelly, dumplings, cake and chicken. Later we had dessert. After lunch, we did a treasure hunt in groups of 5 where we had to find a piece of Christmas ribbon and answer lots of questions. Then we received a bucket, spoon and seeds to grow as our graduation gift. The teachers want us to bloom where we are planted like the flowers. We also got a DVD disc with photos and videos of our Year 4. At the end of the day we took the bus back and the bus driver put the disc on for us all to watch. It was such a fun day.
