Blue Edge Program

BLUE EDGE PROGRAM

Throughout Term 2 Shepparton High School and McGuire College had a number of students who were involved in the Blue Edge Program which was supported and ran by the Victoria Police and the Blue Edge team. This program went for all of term two at Aquamoves on both Monday and Wednesday mornings. On the Monday morning students participated in some gym fitness which focused on different muscle groups around the body. This was assisted with the use of basic gym equipment and the access of the different facilities at Aquamoves. On the Wednesday morning sessions students focused on team oriented activities which helped students build confidence and resilience. On the last day of the Blue Edge program students were able to celebrate their success with a graduation day held by the Murray Life Adventures team just outside of Echuca.  Students participated in a variety of activities displaying their leadership skills and teamwork. 

All students were able to show growth during the course of this program and were able to make some positive connections with other students who went to McGuire College as well as the Victoria Police.
