Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Have you seen our Christmas tree made of books!  Stop by and check it out, grab yourself a Christmas bookmark and a book from the book swap table for your holiday reading.

The library has had a fun filled busy year. I have enjoyed introducing lots of award winning books and sharing my love of reading with recommendations of my favourite books to our students.

Our top 10 most popular reads for 2019 :

                                                 : Frozen: Disney

: A Stack of Alpacas: Matt Cosgrove

: A Series of Unfortunate Events: Lemony Snicket

: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Jeff Kinney

: The Bad Guys: Aaron Blabey

: Australia’s Great War series: Libby Gleeson

: Children of the Dragon series: Rebecca Lim

: Anne of Avonlea: L.M. Montgomery

                                                 : Siege: Sarah Mussi

Our Tuesday craft activities have been a wonderful introduction for me to meet many students.  Jenni and I have thoroughly enjoyed encouraging students to have a go and create, they have made many wonderful creations.

Tuesday 3rd December will be our last craft activity for 2019.

I would like to thank Jenni for her support with Tuesday Craft, Ada for covering our new books and Christine for sharing craft supplies.  Your support has made my transition to Carwatha very pleasurable.

I would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Christmas holiday break.
