International Students

Primary

What a year! It has been a pleasure working with Anne, Lucas, Grace, Michael, Mary, Frank, Jenny, Andy, Johnny, Many, Eric, Alan, Yuan and Ryan in the PLC.

We have had so much fun learning the English words for many everyday objects and concepts. We have enjoyed cooking, games, books and making things. Highlights include our Healesville Sanctuary excursion and more recently our excursion to Gumbuya World.

Participating in whole school events such as the Science Fair, Multicultural Day, Colour Run and the many P-12 assemblies has been challenging, but each student has taken it in their stride and with lots of preparation and follow up discussions, they have expanded their knowledge and English skills.

This week is our STOMP concert. The students have been busy rehearsing and are looking forward to dancing on stage in front of family and friends. Next week we will have our STOMP disco, which is always a lot of fun!

Our Grade 6 students are busy preparing for Graduation. We wish them all the best for their special night and for their transition into Year 7!

Please say hello to the PLC students (past and present) and ask them how they are.

Conversation / interactions with native English speakers really is the best way to learn.
