Visual Arts

It is great to be back at KPS. The students have been very busy making use of their creative talent. The foundation students will be spending the next few weeks looking at healthy food. This unit of work actually focuses around proportion, colouring large and small spaces and size in general.

The Junior students will be learning to master their sewing skills. They will be learning a couple of different stitching techniques, finger knitting and pom pom making.

The middle students will be learning to manipulate clay and create colour.

The senior students are working on making a 3D model out of boxes and Modroc. These sculptures will represent a character out of one of their favorite children's books- just in time for book week.

Thank you for your continuing supply of materials for the VA room. Currently we are in need of newspaper. Flat newspaper is preferred over rolled up newspaper.
