PE Uniform

When students have PE or Sport they are expected to wear full PE Uniform.  This includes sports polo, blue shorts or track pants, school jacket or jumper and appropriate footwear.  Please note that skins/tights are NOT part of the PE uniform and are therefore not permitted.

Too many students are opting to either not bring a change of clothes or to wear their own sports attire.  Doing so is deemed to be out of uniform and the following consequences will occur:

1.     The PE/Sport  teacher will provide the student with a school issued PE uniform for that lesson that they will be required to wear and return at the end of the lesson.

2.     If the student refuses to follow the instructions of the teacher they will be given an afterschool detention.

3.     The year level coordinator will be notified in each instance.

Students are reminded that if they are going to be out of uniform with a valid reason or unable to participate due to injury or illness, they are required to bring a note or the usual consequences will be issued.

If parents/guardians are having difficulty purchasing a PE uniform please contact the school so that arrangements can be made and your child’s PE teacher can be informed.
