Books light up our World!

Every year the Children’s Book Council of Australia nominate certain titles for the prestigious title of book of the year. There are a few categories, but of interest to us is the Younger reader category and the Older reader category. There are six titles nominated for book of the year in each category, but only one winner in each category.

This is a possible ‘tear jerker’ dealing with the topics of death, grief and love. According to San Francisco Magazine, this read is ‘a gravity-defying, life-affirming experience.’
