Term 2 News

The last fortnight has been another busy one for all Year 7 students.  On Friday 6 May, the Year 7 cohort competed in the school Cross Country Fun Run, which after a weather set back, was undertaken with great success. Students across all year levels (7 to 12) walked and/or ran around the school on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

This fortnight has also seen an update in our 'Attendance Ladder'. Currently the leading home group is 748. The winner of the attendance ladder will win a pizza lunch at the end of term. We remind all students about the importance of being at school.

Resilience and Wellbeing

Every week Year 7 students engage in a resilience and wellbeing activity during their Home Group assembly.

This week we looked at 'Time Management' at school and at home. Students were to fill in a timetable which identified spare time and days which may be difficult to fit in extra activities. This is an important skill that all students should work towards managing early in their schooling years.

Year 7 Coordinators

Year 7 Captains

Camp was a really fun experience with something for everyone.

One of my favourite things about camp was that they didn't force you to do anything you didn't want to.  The food tasted really good, especially the dessert.

It was really fun to be in a cabin with my cousin Jack, and I'm pretty sure everyone else enjoyed their cabin mates as well!

Now that I have been on the Year 7 camp, I am looking forward to next year's Year 8 camp!
