ANZAC Service Request

This year for our school's ANZAC Day commemoration, (to be held on Wednesday, 26th April), we would like to incorporate the names and faces of family members from our School Community that have served or are currently serving in Australia's armed forces. We would like to be able to include a range of servicemen and women from World War I through to our present overseas involvement in Afghanistan.

While we may not be able to use every entry we receive, we are hoping to use as many as possible. This will give students the opportunity to realise that the ANZAC tradition is one that is deeply embedded in the fabric of our culture and in our collective experience.

If you have information regarding a family member who was or is a serviceman or woman, please take a moment to complete the online form and attach a picture of that person following the link.

Thank you for being a part of this project.

School Crossing Supervisor Program

The Yarra Ranges Council is in the process of reviewing its School Crossing Supervisor Program and how the program can best meet the needs of the community. The Council is interested in feedback from school communities and has invited written submissions regarding the service, current issues and/or opportunities to improve the relationship the crossing program has with schools.

Written submissions must be received by no later than 5pm, Friday, March 24, 2017. Submissions should be marked: 'School Crossing Supervisors Program Review' and emailed to scsreview@yarraranges.vic.gov.au

Upon completion of the review, a report of outcomes will be shared with participating stakeholders.

Car Park Safety

We would like to remind families that Wattle Valley Road is a public road. For the safety of all in the school community, please do not overtake on Wattle Valley Road. It is important to be mindful of all other road users, as well as pedestrians.

Cans Needed

We are in need of any tins/cans that are larger than 200ml. If you have some you can donate, please speak to Lauren Malane-Rule, Cassie Allison, or Jo Noy. Thank you!
