Labour Day Public Holiday

A reminder to families that due to the Labour Day Public Holiday, there will be no Kinder or school on Monday, March 13.

World's Greatest Shave

Each March, extraordinary Aussies help beat blood cancer by being sponsored to shave or colour their hair. This year, the leukemia foundation aims to raise 17 million dollars with your help. In 2015, I participated in this event and shaved my head to raise money for this great cause.

I’m proud to say that this year, Belgrave Heights Christian School is participating in the World's Greatest Shave, by putting together a Super Team of Year 8 students and staff - where we can combine our individual fundraising efforts and make one BIG donation. 

I’m looking forward to joining the team and shaving my head again.

On Thursday, 23rd March, BHCS will be participating in the World's Greatest Shave. 

In next week's newsletter we will have a link to the fundraising, as well as a list of Year 8 students who will be participating. We will also be listing BHCS staff members who will be willing to shave their head (or beard!). Staff members will nominate how much money will need to be raised before they submit their luscious locks to the clippers!

Please get on board with your donations, and feel free to be there on Thursday, 23rd March to witness the shaving at a very different assembly!

We will be linking this day in with a special Crazy Hair BOOM Day, so students across the school can come with crazy hairstyles or colours (that can be returned to normal the next week).
