From the Principal's Desk

School Operations 

Yesterday, the Acting Premier announced various easing of restrictions for Melbournians as of 11:59 pm tonight. The only real difference for us is that masks no longer need to be worn outside. However, we still need to observe the 1.5m rule.

I have held off on publishing this newsletter in case there are changes to be put in place but as this stage schools are yet to receive any update from the Department of Education or CECV. Hence our operations will remain as is and any further adjustments required will be communicated to you.

Back to Business

It has been wonderful to have the children back on site with a face-to-face learning and teaching program operating . 

Children have settled back into routine and with only just over a week to go before the end of term are busily finishing units of work and finalizing subject requirements.

 In the madness of it all, I couldn't be prouder of how they have responded to the challenge.

Uniforms

Please see below for the days in which your children are to wear their sports uniform in  

Term 3-

Prep NV: Thursday and Friday

PreP LV: Thursday and Friday

1/2B: Tuesday and Wednesday

1/2C: Tuesday and Wednesday

1/2R: Tuesday and Wednesday

Year 3K: Tuesday and Wednesday 

Year 3/S: Tuesday and Wednesday 

Year 4W: Tuesday and Wednesday 

Year 5/6A: Thursday and Friday 

Year 5/6S: Thursday and Friday 

I understand that this term was a little crazy at times and confusing for families. I suppose that in an effort to catch-up on or squeeze things in around lockdown periods so that our children would not miss out on anything we may have not communicated particular uniform days to families as well as we should have.

Anyway... for future reference, if you stick to the days above (even if there are some slight timetable changes) you should be fine. Any changes necessary will be communicated to you in writing either by email, Operoo, Class Dojo or via the Newsletter. 

Accounts

On Friday updated Fee and Levy accounts will be sent out to all families. These accounts are generated by our new business package so they will look different from those of the past. You will note that any transactions that were made prior to the changeover of packages will not appear and only the current balance will be shown. 

Please note that the second instalment of the Family Fee of $470 and the Capital Levy of $110 are both due by 26th June.
