Please remember to inform the College as soon as practical of any leave required by students. We have a strict policy in relation to attendance and assessments. Students will need to supply a medical certificate if absent on the day of a test.  Please try to make appointment out of school hours or in the holidays. Congratulation to the 54 students with 100% attendance keep up the good work.

Winter Coughs and Colds

With winter upon us it’s time to think about the way we can reduce colds and flu.   Wash hands regularly, cover your mouth when you cough, eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, stay warm and dry. These are just a few  basic hygiene habits which can help stop the spreading of germs.

Dress Code (Open Day)

As a member of the College community, it is important to have a sense of belonging and identity. The way in which we wear our uniform sets a tone and reflects a positive pride and professional approach to the wider community.

The students' Open Day uniform needs to be neat and tidy, cleaned and ironed, shirts are to be tucked in, buttons done up, no rips, holes or tears, no writing on or excessive paint/grease and polished boots. Students will need to ensure they check their uniform to make sure it is in good condition and replace anything before the weekend.   If parents could check with their child it would be much appreciated.

Sea Trek (Bi Annual Excursion)

13 students have nominated themselves to attend an 8 day trip to Shark Bay to sail and motor small boats in the World Heritage site.  These students will be setting off from Harvey after Open Day for 5 days of sailing, camping, fishing.  Have fun everyone.

Country Week

Teams for 2019 are AFL Boys, Basketball Boys, Netball Girls, Volley Boys and Girls. 65 students will be attending  and representing the College  in the last week of this term.

Team training has commenced and team selections are currently in progress.  The remainder for the Country Week fees will be due by Friday 21st June 2019.

Resilience Training with Brooke (School Psychologist)

Resilience training commenced at the end of last term and has continued over a number of Monday nights with Year 10 students.  The program is designed to help and show young people how to cope with the knocks and bumps of today.  This program has been opened to all Day and Boarding students.

New Table Centre Pieces

We have introduced table centre  pieces in the dining room as a reminder to  students of up and coming events and to get some important tips for life.  We have found this has been working well and a great form of communication to the students.
