Remembrance Day

On 11 November we held our Remembrance Day ceremony to remember those who have fought for our country across the many wars in which Australia has been involved. Our ceremony was professionally hosted by a variety of our students from Year 9 to Year 11. They individually chose a particular poem, diary entry or personal speech to share.

At the beginning of the service every student in our community collected a poppy and at the conclusion placed it with our school wreath and flag, paying their respects and remembering the sacrifice that many made for our country.

Members of our local RSL, School Council and PFA attended and commented on what a moving and well-presented ceremony it was.

Well done to all involved.
