7/8’s Cricket Blast

On Wednesday 6th November two teams of Year 7/8 students headed to Victoria Park in Ballarat to compete in the Cricket Blast competition. The weather conditions were quite good for the day, with sunshine and only a little bit of wind. The students improved their skills and tactical awareness throughout the day and learnt a lot about the game.

Girls' Results:

Game One – Ballarat High (B) 85 defeated Beaufort 62

Game Two – Ballarat High (A) 83 defeated Beaufort 59

Grand Final – Castlemaine 66 defeated Beaufort 51

Boys' Results:

Game One – Ballarat High (B) 110 defeated Beaufort 80

Game Two – Ballarat High (A) 145 defeated Beaufort 79

Game Three – Castlemaine High 140 defeated Beaufort 77
