VCAL success

The Paper and Strings Co. Tie Dye Pop-Up Shop

On Monday, November 7th,

VCAL, this year for their integrated assessment, decided to do a pop-up shop selling a variety of T-shirts, pillow cases and cards. This orientated from a market to raise funds for a charity of their choice. We chose STREAT. A percentage of the proceeds from the sales will go to social enterprise STREAT – Their purpose is to help young people thrive and belong with a healthy self, home and work.

Another pop-up shop will be held on the 21st of November. Thank you for your support.

Room 26

In Terms 3 and 4, Room 26 students have enjoyed doing various activities at school. They have enjoyed cooking different foods such as tacos, garlic bread, enchiladas and muffins. We have also explored different foods from around the world such as Empanadas from Spain, Turkish delight from Turkey and Croissants from France. The whole class really enjoyed the colour run and got very messy while doing the laps. And the Mini-Beasts Incursion was a great hit with all of the students, especially the butterfly enclosure where some students stayed for the whole session.
