Parky Does

Our final music concert for the year is fast approaching on Saturday November 26th

2-4pm in the School Theatre.

“Blast from the Past” will showcase previous hits from other Parky Does shows and is sure to be a hit! This performance includes each student in our instrumental program plus instrumental staff. We also look forward to welcoming back past students to perform.

Added rehearsals will run on -

Monday November 7th - 3.30pm – 5.30pm

Sunday November 20th - 9.30am – 1pm

Saturday November 26th students to arrive by 9.30am for final rehearsal before show time at 2pm.

Tickets can be purchased through Trybooking from Week 6, November 7th.

Radio Shows

Each fortnight our students get to host a radio show on 88.3 Southern FM from 8-9am.

We have had some very entertaining live shows recently with students in Years 7, 9 and 12. We look forward to upcoming final shows for the year on Friday November 4th and 18th, and December 2nd and 16th.

Battle of the Bands

On Friday October 21st we had our first hugely successful Battle of the Bands competition. This was entirely run by the Year 9 Music Class as part of their CAT for Term 4.

The Year 9 band 'Missing Notes', Year 10 band 'Salad Dates' and Year 11 band 'Green Bins' provided some tough competition with two amazing songs each.

It was the Year 11 band 'Green Bins' that took out the competition by two points!

Congratulations to all the bands who participated, and we look forward to making this an annual event.
