Book Week 2022

The organisation for Book Week is well under way now and we can't wait to see what will be found in the Scholastic Book Fair this year. This is an important event on our calendar, not just to to celebrate a love of reading but the book fair is a fundraising opportunity for the school. For every purchase made, we receive points that can be used to purchase new books for our school. I hope the children have been saving some of their pocket money ready to choose a new favourite book.

We're just in the process of finalising our Grandparents Day celebrations and are looking forward to welcoming our loved ones to join us at Mass and to celebrate Book Week with us. More information regarding this will be shared with families soon.

Unwell Children

A friendly reminder that if your child is unwell, please keep them at home. We're not at the end of cold and flu season yet and we still have Covid cases within the school. We all still need to play our part in keeping the St Therese's community safe and healthy. 

If you are keeping your child home from school due to illness, please ensure this is communicated to the school.

Covid and Face Masks Update

The Victorian Department of Health strongly recommends that face masks are worn in indoor settings.

As a result, we are asking all students aged 8 and over and all staff to wear masks when in class (except for where removing a mask is necessary for clear communication) from now until the end of winter.

Please support this by explaining to your child/ren the importance of this simple step in keeping our school as safe as possible. This action will help us to ensure that as many students and staff as possible are protected from Covid and other winter illnesses.
