Conferences Next Week

Bookings are still open on Compass for Parent / Student / Teacher Conferences next week.  If you are unable to make the times available for your child’s teacher, feel free to contact the teacher directly to work out a mutually agreeable time.

Preps on the Farm

This term our Prep students have just started learning all about life on the farm.  I loved visiting PKB and PEM and hearing some of the facts that they had learnt about cows and horses. It was also wonderful to see their writing about the animals they have been learning about – it’s amazing to see the growth in their learning this year.

As part of the learning for this unit, on Wednesday PSB, PEC and PAM visited Myuna Farm. The students had a great day and had a range of experiences from milking cows to a tractor ride. 

Middle and Senior House Athletics

After a couple of postponements last Term, the Melbourne weather finally held up for two beautiful Winter days of House Athletics. The students showed their competitive spirit out on the track but what I loved to see was the encouragement for each other on the finish lines, pushing each other to sprint for the line wherever they were placed in the race.

A big thank you to Laura Yorke and David Moreland for their organisation of the day.  Also thank you to the parents who came along on the day and filled a myriad of roles.
