North West Tour (NWT)

What an amazing two weeks we had on the 2022 North West Tour 18/7/2022 to 29/7/2022. 

I cannot thank the staff and students enough for the incredible time we all had together. Our Year 11’s were exemplary in their behaviour and willingness to assist and try new things. AMAZING !!!

We will get more formalised feedback from students and staff this week in the form of a survey, as we always look to improve but I hope the photos I have included says it all. 

Other interesting NWT facts:

• We covered over 6000 kilometres in road travel.
• Laughed millions of times.
• Ate 750 apples, 480 sausages, 90 lamb chops, 90 pork steaks, 8kg of delicious chicken curry tacho’s, spaghetti bolognaise (thank you to our incredible kitchen staff and butcher).
• Told 250,000 bad jokes.
• Drank 168 litres of milk, 60 litres of juice.
• Slept like babies, consumed 10,000’s of lollies and chips.

2022 College Ball

Our Oscars theme Collage Ball, is only 3 weeks away and the night is looking to be exceptionally glamourous indeed. The Parmelia Hilton Ballroom will be dripping in Gold and we are looking forward to a lovely night.

Students have until COB today to complete and hand in their Guest Agreements to Student Services. Can parents please ensure they are available to be contacted in case of an emergency or have made plans for another contact to be available on the evening. The P&C event will be close by and staff are looking forward to meeting many of our parents there.

Student and guest behaviour expectations are outlined in the Guest Agreement and a follow up letter to parents will be emailed by 20 August 2022. Ball tickets will be distributed to students the week prior to the ball but will not be released to those students who are not following the grooming expectations as set out in the College Guidelines.
