From the Associate Principal

It has been great to have our Year 11's and North West Tour staff back on campus this week. From all reports, the students enjoyed their time in the warm north of our state. Thank you to the staff and students who helped the tour run smoothly. 

College Photos

College photos will take place on Monday, 8 August 2022, week 4. Students need to start the day dressed in the Formal College uniform: white shirt, blazer, tie, black pants, black belt and polished black leather shoes (no sports shoes). Jumpers will need to be removed for the photos. 

Students are to gather outside the Rec Centre at 8:00am Monday morning. There will be time allocated for students to change into sports and farm uniforms if students are required for those photos (please see below for requirements). At the conclusion of school photos, students can change into the uniform they will need for the remainder of the day. 

If you haven't returned your photo order envelope please make sure you do so by 3pm today (Friday). 

This weekend would be an ideal opportunity for students to visit the hairdresser if their current style does not meet College guidelines.

• White shirt
• Blazer (no jumpers)
• Tie
• Black pants
• Black belt
• Polished black leather/leather-like shoes (no sports shoes) 

Shearing Team to wear -

• Shearing team shirt
• Boots
• Farm pants

Country Week Squad to wear -

• School sports polo 
• School sports shorts or pants
• Sports shoes

Hockey Team to wear - 

• Team playing uniform 

Farm Skills and Katanning Team to wear -

• Farm Uniform (can wear Farm Skills shirt)

Country Week

Country Week information will be sent out to families next week through Consent2Go. Students attending have been issued a Major Excursion Contract which outlines the College's expectations of students in the lead up to and on Country Week. There will be a student meeting Thursday, 11 August 2022, week 4 and details will be communicated through the lunch notices. 

Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Day

A whole school excursion to the Dowerin Field Days has been planned for 25 August (Thursday week 6, before the Closed Weekend). Students will be departing the College at 8am and arriving back at 1pm. More information will be sent via Consent2go.
