On Wednesday the 15th of June. A number of students had the opportunity to take part in a Soccer Tournament. We arrived at the location early in the morning eager to play our best and show great sportsmanship. The feeling of excitement was high and the group was ready to play!

Our first game was at 10am and we played the school St Lawrence. The team was very skilled and it was evenly matched. The final score was 0-0, it was a draw! Even though it was a draw, both teams played very well and were happy with the game.

We then had a bye which allowed us to relax and watch some of the other matches while we prepared for our next game.

In round three at 11am, we went up against Deer Park North Primary School. After an amazing game with lots of back and forth action, we unfortunately lost with the score of 1-0. The match was close but the wind was out of control. This caused the ball to go all over the place and it was hard to control.

Round four was another bye which let us have some lunch and watch some more action.

In round five, we played St Peter Chanel. The game was extremely close and we had a lot of fun. After some time, we score our first goal. It was exciting and we all celebrated together. By the end of the game we had scored another two and the other team scored a goal. The final score was 3 - 1, WE WON!

Because we had won a game, we had made the finals and played Movelle Primary School in a hard fought game. We lost 1 - 0. Although the team was upset that we lost and made it to 4th place overall.

This was a great opportunity to go and have some fun while doing something that we are passionate about. We can't wait to do something similar in the future.
