Prep A is doing some amazing things !!

What is so special about this class? Let’s find out!
We are Iclal & Anna and today we did a Class Spotlight on one of our prep classes.
Today we were able to interview 2 prep students from Prep A. As they started to talk to us, it was clear that they loved this school and their class. The prep students that had so many positive things to speak about and knew exactly what they were learning in class. We definitely had fun talking to them as they answered our questions. This is what they had to say:

| What makes your class such a special place to learn in? |
I think it is how we are, we like to be friends and learn together. We like to be with each other, we are all best friends and we help each other. We do fun things with our teachers like Art and STEM.

| What is your class doing at the moment in Reading? |
We are learning to make connections like text-to-self and text-to-text. We are reading 'Grandpa and Thomas and the Green Umbrella'. We read lots of books and take some home. We like to change them everyday.

| What is your class doing at the moment in Writing? |
We do lots of experiences, today we put food colouring in Milk. We put soap in the middle of Food Colouring and made a nice rainbow. After this, we write about it and make it special. We need to include things like full stops and upper case letters at the beginning of the sentence.

| What is your class doing at the moment in Mathematics? |
We are learning other ways to make tens. This is called making tens some friends. You have to make numbers to ten like nine and one is ten. Another one is five and five. Four and Six also make ten.

| What is your favourite part about being a student at Albanvale Primary School? |
| I like the things that we do at this school like art, STEM, the Library and the lunch time clubs. We have lots of friends that we can play with and talk to. This school is amazing. We love this school so much. |
It is clear that the students in Prep A are doing some awesome work and this has allowed the class to learn some great things. We will be back next week to highlight the great work that another of Albanvale Primary School Classes work is doing.
