2017 Public Education Awards

Only One Week Left!

The Public Education Awards program is an important way to acknowledge the talented and dedicated people working in public education and the extraordinary impact they have on the lives of children and young people in South Australia.

In addition to awards recognising teaching excellence, this year five new categories have been introduced to reflect the diversity of our workforce and acknowledge the impact of individuals and teams who demonstrate strong leadership, community engagement, innovation, and outstanding outcomes in non-teaching roles. This includes a new category to recognise our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and their contribution to child development, educational attainment and wellbeing.

 We encourage everyone to recognise excellence across LNPS by getting involved and nominating staff at the school.

Nominations are open via www.decd.sa.gov.au/awards before Wednesday 31 May

Lost property

Please check the trolley outside the front office for any lost uniform articles. We have a lot of new un-named jackets and jumpers needing to be returned to their owners. As the size tag is dark blue and difficult to write a name on, consider sewing in a tag or writing your child’s name on the reverse side of the logo as it has a white backing.

Sometimes clothing can go astray and end up going home with someone else. Please make sure the garments you have at home belong to your child.

There is also a large amount of lunch boxes, some with their original lunch still inside!

Front Office News

Anne Matheson has decided to follow a new career direction and will be leaving the school. Anne's last day will be  Thursday 25th May.  The school wishes her well and thanks her for support and service to the school and community over the past 6 years.

School Fees

School Fees are now overdue. Families that have not paid their fees or entered into a payment agreement will receive an overdue in the coming days.
