Student Representative Council

On Monday 1 August, we inducted our Student Representative Council (SRC) at the SRC Assembly. It was great to see family being able to attend our Assembly as it has been a couple of years since we have been able to allow families to attend.

A Student Representative Council is a group of students elected by their fellow students to represent all students in the school. SRCs work democratically to represent the student body in school decision-making and organise ways for students to participate in school life.

Student leadership opportunities help students:

  • work as a member of a team
  • develop and build positive relationships, between peers and teachers
  • contribute to the school community
  • use their voice responsibly
  • value the perspectives and opinions of others
  • participate in decision-making

Students were presented with their badges by Mr Forrester, assisted by our Senior School Leadership team.

Thank you to our Senior School Leadership team for running the assembly - you all did an amazing job, and thank you to our SRC members for taking the opportunity to represent your year group.
