During the July school holidays, Mrs De Redder and Mrs Moor were scheduled to travel to Darwin to present at the AATE (Australian Association for Teaching English) National Conference. The focus of their presentation was engagement with an examination of the Year 7 English program and, in particular, Comic-con.

Unfortunately, Covid had other ideas and hit the Glen Innes High School English faculty. Despite being unable to attend, Mrs De Redder and Mrs Moor recorded their presentation, once deemed safe to socialise, and the presentation was added to the online conference. Thank you to the students who participated in the pre-recording of information about Comic-con prior to the Conference.
