Athletics Carnival

On Monday 3rd April we will hold our annual athletics carnival. As usual it will be held at James Sheahan Catholic High School. This year students Kindergarten to Year 6 will participate in the carnival. Nominations for all track and field events have taken place at school, with all finals now to be run at the school carnival. Thank you to all those parents who have volunteered to assist at the carnival. If anyone's availability has changed, please let us know and you are now able to volunteer.

A gentle reminder that permission notes and $2 for a sausage sandwich are due in by Friday.

We look forward to a FUN day at the carnival.

Year 5 Basketballers fly high with Orange Eagles

For four Catherine McAuley Year 5 students, the term eagles has taken on a whole new meaning as they enjoy their first season of representing Orange in the western NSW basketball competition.

Max Bennett, Toby Dover, Digby Luelf and Hamish Glasgow were all selected to play for the Orange Eagles U12 teams from a competitive field. So far, they have competed in tournaments at Leeton and Lithgow with Bathurst the next event in April.

This has been an incredible learning experience for the players, who have all developed their playing skills and made new friends with other basketballers from schools across Orange.
