ART NEWS

Welcome back to what is set to be another wonderful year at Delacombe Primary School. We hope that all of our students and their families enjoyed a relaxing break and are ready to let their creativity shine in 2023!

This year we warmly welcome Mrs Dawson to the Art team! Mrs Dawson will be teaching Art to our Grade 1 students and brings with her an abundance of enthusiasm for Visual Arts, and a strong commitment to understanding how students work best.

We are excited to announce a change in direction for our learning portfolio covers. After many years of the vibrant handprint covers, we are now moving to a more personalised style in keeping with our commitment to student voice and agency. Students are being provided with the opportunity to celebrate themselves through creating a cover which captures their individuality. 

Students are also continuing to develop their understanding and experience of being a community of learners, through focussing on respect for self, space, and others.
