JSC 2023

Delacombe PS kids really are the best kids! This week we have watched on with pride and admiration, as our students have participated in the Junior School Council nomination and selection process. We have admired the courage and willingness of those students who nominated and delivered their speeches to their class, and appreciated the respect and consideration their peers displayed as they listened to the carefully thought out and well delivered speeches. Whilst there will only be one JSC leader elected from each class, we strongly encourage everyone to remember, that not all leaders wear a badge, and that there are many ways they can support and encourage the happy day to day experiences of their peers here at school. Our school values provide an excellent guide on how to be a great citizen here at Delacombe PS.

Thank you to our parents and carers at home who have provided support and encouragement at home, your time and efforts in the speech writing and practise process are greatly appreciated. 

We look forward to announcing and celebrating our 2023 Junior School Council leaders during the Week 6 assembly.
