Lovely New VCE Maths Textbooks! Woo-hoo.  Doesn't get too much more exciting than that around here!  Thank you to our Maths Coordinator Ms Brennan and to Kelly, Sharon and Kylie for all their help getting them ready for students to borrow today.  

We also had a wonderful visit to our library and generous book donation by ex-student and MBSC College Dux Sophie Hodge.  Sophie has donated the beautiful big hardcover book "Projects" by Andy Goldsworthy which showcases a decade of the artist's large-scale sculptural work from around the world.  I haven't put it out on display yet as I cannot for the life of me work out how I'm going to contact it! 😬 

It has been wonderful to see our new Year 7's enjoy and get to know the library space in their reading class with English and during lunch breaks.  

Our Year 7 English teachers Belinda Cunningham and Dan Carroll are already fielding lots of new book requests and questions.  So far we seem to have a lot of interest in choose your own adventure books, sport books (netball, soccer, mountain biking, motorcycles) and adventure books.  

Students have enquired about the following books which we don't currently have in our library but I have recently added them to our Book Wish List in case anyone is able to make a book donation.
