ARTEXPRESS Update

As previously advised, the Year 12 HSC Visual Arts Body Of Work by Oliver Stephens (Year 12, 2022) was selected for ARTEXPRESS.

Oliver's work was one of 266 works selected for the showcase, which included other HSC showcases, such as ENCORE.

Oliver writes:

"The event was great!  There were 458 students who were selected for showcase events, like ARTEXPRESS and ENCORE etc. 

My work was shown as one of three representative ARTEXPRESS works in a small video, which was shown during the event.

The Honourable Sarah Mitchell, Minister for Education and Early Learning, was a speaker at the event, together with Mr Dean Martin (the Head of NESA), and Carlos, the guest speaker and an actor. 

During the event there were also two performances; one from a drama student and another from a dance student. 

After the official part of the event, there was an opportunity for photos and to talk to everyone, it was great to be able to talk with other students, as well as Ms Mitchell and the Mr Martin."

Congratulations, again, to Oliver, who has been accepted into ANU.
