Swimming Carnival – Thursday 16 February

All students Years 7-12 are to wear PE uniform to school on the day with their blue broadbrim hat. It will not be necessary for students to bring their formal hat to school on Thursday. If your son does not have a House shirt, they are welcome to wear a Marist training shirt and shorts. Please ensure your son has sunscreen to re-apply throughout the day. 

Students Catching the Bus – Sufficient Funds

A reminder for all families with students who use school buses to keep their bus pass topped up with funds to pay the required fare. Whilst each driver will deal with this in a different manner, pending instructions from their bus company, it is frustrating for all involved – drivers, staff supervising and students.

Lost Property

We are already seeing a large amount of lost property in Student Admin this term. Sadly, most lost items have no name or naming has become faded and illegible and cannot be returned to their owner. If your son has lost shoes, socks, water bottles, lunch boxes etc please encourage him to visit Student Admin and look for lost property. Naming all necessary school items will alleviate much of the problem.

Year 12 Formal

The 2023 Senior Formal is on Saturday 4 March in the Main Auditorium of Brisbane City Hall from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. Reminder tickets must be purchased by Monday 20 February via this link:  https://events.humanitix.com/2023-year12-formal
